Harrisonburg traffic ticket lawyer Bob Keefer says government puts Troopers in danger
Sunday, July 27th, 2008Four Virginia State Police officers have been struck on Virginia Interstate Highways in the last two months. Senior Trooper Jesse Dennis had stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction on Interstate 64’s eastbound lane when his cruiser was rammed by a Chevrolet Equinox. The Chevy’s driver indicated that he had fallen asleep and has been charged with reckless driving. Fortunately, Trooper Dennis was not seriously injured.
I am sure that driver error plays a big part in these injuries; however, our Interstates are too crowded and that is the government’s fault – it puts us all in danger.
