Harrisonburg reckless driving: Paulini, while being a talented singer, is not a talented driver. Although she has never had a full license, only a learner’s permit, she has accrued eleven driving charges. Recently, Paulini entered a guilty plea to bribing a government employee for a fake license to allow her to drive illegally. Paulini apparently told the court that she needed a continuance so she could obtain her actual driver’s license. Pauline lost her learner’s permit in 2016 for driving without a licensed driver in the vehicle. The government employee was facing other charges and used her attempt to gain a fraudulent license to gain favor with the prosecutors.

Reckless Driving in Virginia: Da’Shawn Hand is an outstanding Defensive Lineman for the powerful Alabama Crimson Tide Football team. Hand is one of the excellent cast of returning Defensive players for the Alabama team. Last year, Hand played in all 15 games, made 21 tackles, 2 quarterback sacks and 5 quarterback hurries. Hand was also a preseason All-SEC pick by the sports media. This arrest was just before the beginning of the first camp. Alabama‘s first game will be against Florida State.
Reckless Driving in Virginia: Unfortunately, Hand was arrested for DUI in late July, 2017. Hand probably thought that he could reason with or satisfy the Officer by answering his questions and performing his roadside agility tests. Hand was wrong. The incentives are too great for Officers now to exercise much discretion in why they arrest. If an Officer stops a vehicle and smells the odor of an alcoholic beverage, the driver is going to get arrested for DUI.
Coach Nick Saban was quoted as saying: “This type of behavior is not acceptable and we are disappointed in Da’Shawn‘s actions,” “We are still gathering information and will evaluate what we need to do in terms of appropriate discipline as we move forward, so better choices and decisions can be made in the future.”

On March 12, 2017, Montana Fishburne, the 25 year old daughter of Actor Laurence Fishburne, was involved in a two car crash near Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ms. Fishburne’s Toyota Corolla was traveling on I-95 and collided with a Range Rover in the lane ahead of her as it slowed for another collision. No one was injured in this accident. When the Florida State Police arrived to investigate the collision they smelled alcohol on Ms. Fishburne, noticed red eyes and embarked on a DUI Investigation.
Following NHTSA protocol the State police convinced Ms. Fishburne to attempt to prove her innocence by engaging in roadside gymnastics normally referred to as Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Although these tests have never been replicated by third parties, the government claims that the SFSTs will show a probability of a Breath or Blood Alcohol Content of .08 or more. It appears that the police also talked Ms. Fishburne into taking the preliminary breath tester. You should never take these PBTs unless you want to go to jail.
Ms. Fishburne has had some difficulties finding her way in the world. Once she turned 19 years of age she decided to star in a porn movie to gain acceptance by the media like Kim Kardashian. She subsequently became a stripper before moving to Fort Lauderdale to go under the radar.

Driving Under the Influence: Oregon Assistant Football Coach David Reaves was stopped, investigated and arrested for driving under the influence (DUI). Reaves was also charged with reckless driving and reckless endangerment. Oregon placed him on administrative leave with the intention of firing him for cause. Reaves had only been an Oregon employee for five days before being suspended.
Driving Under the Influence: According to law enforcement, Reaves was driving a vehicle containing a passenger when stopped shortly after 2 a.m. for numerous traffic infractions. Reaves was placed in jail shortly after 5 a.m. and released around 10 a.m. on approximately $1,500.00 bond. This DUI arrest will probably be very expensive for Coach Reaves. Reaves was contracted to be paid $300,000.00 per year for the balance of his present employment contract. Head Coach Willie Taggart had intended Reaves to share the offensive coordinator role while also coaching the tight ends and serving as passing game coordinator.
Driving Under the Influence: Reaves probably attempted the roadside gymnastics designed to provide roadside reasons to arrest anyone naive enough to try them. These “tests” are almost never properly given and are almost never passed by anyone who tries them. In other words, the game is rigged. Always refuse the standardized field sobriety tests also known as the HGN (horizontal gaze nystagmus), the WAT (walk and turn) and the OLS (one leg stand). These unfair tasks make even sober people look drunk.

When I was younger I made a lot of stupid decisions and never truly understood the consequences of my actions. Today all of my stupidity has caught up with me, and what has been 3 years of mistakes in the making has resulted in me losing my drivers license for 6 months.”

These alleged offenses occurred in July, 2016. Apparently Rodman was driving after parting at a Karaoke Bar north in the southbound carpool lane. A driver who had to swerve into the lane divider to avoid the head on collision called 911. Rodman allegedly fled the scene. Hurricane Running Back Gets DUI: The Miami Hurricanes have suspended Running Back Mark Walton from the football team following his April 23, 2016 early morning DUI arrest. Miami law enforcement reports that Walton was charged with driving under the influence as well as knowingly driving suspended. Police indicate that other charges are pending as their investigation continues. One possible additional charge is impersonation of a law enforcement officer. The Miami athletic director said: “We are aware of the situation regarding Mark Walton and we have taken immediate action by suspending him from the team. . .We have no further comment at this time.”
Hurricane Running Back Gets DUI: The police reported in their affidavit that Walton had a “strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his mouth”, that his “eyes were watery and bloodshot” and that he slurred his word and lost his balance exiting his motor vehicle. Walton then failed a roadside agility test, was arrested and taken for his formal breath test which showed a 0.059 and a o.060 which are over the zero tolerance 0.02 for anyone under 21 years of age. It is, of course, astounding that Walton would be slurring his speech, having trouble standing with watery blood shot eyes when his breath alcohol content was only 0.06. Walton was required to post a $2,000 bond before he was allowed to leave jail. #HurricaneRunningBackGetsDUI
Just a week before his arrest, in the team’s annual spring game, Walton had 10 carries for 56 yards.

Hot Cop of Castro Runs Down Pedestrians: Police allege that on the last day of November, 2015, invalided Officer Christopher Kohrs struck two pedestrians who were crossing the street and then fled on foot. Kohrs has been called the “Hot Cop of Castro” and is something of a celebrity in the Castro District of San Francisco and on the social media. Kohrs was not apprehended until the next day when he turned himself in at the police station, probably with his lawyer. Kohrs was charged with two felony hit and run offenses and was subsequently released upon the posting of a $100,000.00 bond. The bond is a payment made by or on behalf of the accused to gain his release from jail pending trial. The bond is a financial assurance that the Accused will appear for all court dates and remain of good behavior pending trial. #HotCopOfCastroRunsDownPedestrians
Hot Cop of Castro Runs Down Pedestrians: District Attorney George Gascon expressed some concerns for his case due to the lack of drug and alcohol testing of Kohrs after the pedestrians were run down. It is not clear how Kohrs’ alleged failure to render assistance and failure to remain at the scene would be affected by the Government’s inability to prove he was drunk or high at the time of the collision. The felony hit and run statutes are neutral as far as the sobriety of the driver who flees the scene. #HotCopOfCastroRunsDownPedestrians
